I am NOT a consistently profitable Trader.
At least not yet.
However, I am on the relentless journey of becoming one. This website is my effort to be brutally honest with myself and everyone else, and to serve as a documentation of my progress as a trader.
What am I doing here, and why?
This has nothing to do with the other projects of VantEdge LLC.
I just want to put everything related to my trading together in one place. My strategies, my journals, my development as a trader.
I also want to demonstrate that learning how to trade is not as easy as some internet gurus out there want you to believe. Especially when it comes to Day Trading. But it can be done.
Broker statistics show it clearly: Over 90% of traders lose money. Only a very tiny portion of us are actually able to consistently take money from other people in the markets.
The average trader loses money.
So what can we conclude from this? We must stop thinking like them and approach trading with a different mindset. More on that soon.
My Main Strategy
The main Strategy that I focus on at the moment is a strategy where I look to short sell micro cap stocks that rise quickly during premarket hours and then get rejected / show signs of exhaustion of the move.
Those type of stocks very often come back down to where they started or drop even lower. This is what my strategy is built around.
Still there’s a very high risk involved in trading this way, as those stocks tend to make very quick and volatile moves, which makes a clear exit strategy mandatory.
